I have to say that I am disgusted to keep reading in the “items under $500” section of how many pets are for sale and people have the nerve to put in the ad that the reason they are giving the dog away is that they don’t have time for the dog or they didn’t realize the dog would get so big or the dog doesn’t get along with the other animals in the house or there are too many other animals in the house or the dog is hyper. What did they think they were getting into when buying that puppy? No wonder our shelters are overpopulated. People...think long and hard before buying a puppy or older dog. Dogs are cute and loveable and your children will love them but they do need attention. They don’t deserve to be tied up outside and most importantly, they deserve to have the opportunity to be with a family that will keep them for the duration.
