A lot of people berate the media for constantly publishing gloom and doom, arrests, tragic deaths, etc., but we can’t blame them for doing this. Some of this even comes up in the pages of North Country This Week and NorthCountryNow.com. People want to have fear and doom crammed right down their throats and they’re eating it up left and right. People want it and the media are doing their jobs and giving them what they want. And what’s reason people want to be force-fed this stuff? Because nothing is ever going to happen to them in their miserable, boring lives.
