In response to the Feb. 8-14 North Country This Week Sound Off “Realize Reality,” grownups dissent against injustice because that is patriotic. It is patriotic to speak out against violations of our constitution, such as violations of the Emoluments Clause (taking money from foreign governments). No one should stand by while our democracy declines into corruption. Maybe you need to wake up; your guy is not doing anything for you, the common American, and is doing everything to enrich himself and his billionaire friends.
