I cringed when I saw the pictures of the kids with the deer. The town park is not a petting zoo and this is still a wild animal! The hooves of deer are like a razor knife and if suddenly startled they could have severely cut someone open or worse. Have seen too many cases of people trying to pet or feed wild animals and ending up getting injured just because the animal acts in its instinctive manner trying to protect itself.
