I am going to have to stick up for the school system with how they handle bullying simply because there are only so many ways you can combat it. As parents we should also be teaching our children how to handle bullying, because a bully is not going to do something in ear shot/view of a teacher always and the teachers cannot control the bullying when it continues on social media. It is very much our responsibility as parents to take on the task as well. You will never get rid of bullies, it happens in the animal kingdom. A pecking order is natural occurrence. Only thing you can change is not being the victim of it. It is not the schools responsibility to teach our kids social skills and they are not babysitters. Step up and be parents.
