I don’t know how many times people have to complain before something is done about the parking situation in downtown Potsdam. Once the school year starts there is no place to park overnight. College students drive down and park in the lot across from the Roxy to go to the bars and then walk home, leaving their cars there all night. It’s great that they are responsible enough to not drink and drive, but where are the people who live downtown in buildings with no parking lots supposed to park? School has only been back for a week and already I have found myself circling around downtown Potsdam on two separate occasions because there wasn’t a single overnight spot left. I have to have a place to park when I come home at night. Potsdam needs more overnight spots, period.
