Re: “Who will Pay?” (Sound Off, Feb. 22-28) While you’re correct that the new township will be responsible for all these things, it’s important to note the taxpayers affected currently pay for all these things to their respective towns of Potsdam and Norfolk. I’m not suggesting there won’t be increased expenses in ramping up and obtaining all these facilities and roles for a new town, but they are not new expenses or new burdens on the taxpayers.
