No theocracy

Thank goodness I’m finally seeing opinions that are fed up with religion being injected into politics (Sound Off, “Not Less of a Citizen,” Jan. 18-24; “Keep Religion Out of Politics,” Jan. 11-17). I thought we were supposed to have a separation of church and state. This country is very diversified and no one religion should prevail especially in politics. This in your face religious atmosphere is really very annoying. I’m old and cannot remember a presidential race that has been so dominated by religion. We do not want a theocracy for a government. Our servicemen and women are fighting and dying against regimes dominated by religion. What if, when they come home, they find the same radical religious government in place here. Who is going to come in and save us from it?
