Am I the only one that sees the irony in the Village of Potsdam police pressing felony charges against a man who took money without performing the work he contracted for when Potsdam taxpayers have half a structure that is supposed to be a hydro dam sitting empty and no one pressing charges/suing to get our tax dollars returned? Who is in charge of the hydro dam disaster? Better question: How did the company that took Potsdam’s money make it worthwhile to not pursue the matter legally? Am I the only one who sees the irony of Potsdam’s Comprehensive Plan Committee pitching a fit about the condition of the rundown housing in town not being esthetically unpleasant when Clarkson is allowed to strip the sandstone off the historically significant downtown Snell Hall. Potsdam, you set the standard for hypocritical behavior! Voters you let them get away with it! I vote no confidence.
