If Pierrepont re-zones half of its rural residential zoned areas into an AR area, families who want to build homes won't risk building there. No one wants to live next to junk yards, commercial kennels, farm implement sales and repair yards, commercial excavators, agri-business and recycling facilities, all permitted or conditional uses in an AR area. If the town makes this change, the beautiful Waterman Hill area will be lost forever. Commercial zones never change back to residential zones.
