I've read a lot of criticism of a recent Sound Off that tried to establish a connection between two seemingly unrelated issues. One letter suggested censoring the more outlandish ideas that people contribute. I did not get the original post either, but I was inspired that this person was trying to think outside the box. On the other hand, many of the opinions I read in North County This Week restate an opinion that has already been established in the mainstream media, and seem intended to make their side cheer and to annoy the people who have taken the other side. In the long run I think that contributions of new, unexplored, ways of thinking will be more valuable to our community.
