Bankruptcies and foreclosures happen in many cases when people have or had medical insurance. Obama care was written by insurance companies. We need a single payer, socialized medical care system that includes everyone. We can bail out private banks and seek endless wars around the globe but we can’t join all other industrialized countries and provide medical care for all. This is much cheaper. It will get medical care for public employees and Medicaid off the tax rolls, and takes the burden off the few businesses that continue to pay for medical benefits that double every nine to 12 years.
