I am saddened to read about 10 more state troopers assigned to this area. They are already tripping over each other and giving out petty tickets to justify their existence. Every time we go to Gouverneur we see four to five cops on U.S. Highway 11 running radar all the way through a short 60-mile journey. We truly are a police state. Albany and taxpayers really need to look into the cost and justification for this.
