In regards to dead beat dads out there who do not pay for there children (“Dads Should Pay,” March 16-22), I would just like to say that times have changed and yes, they should pay but so should the Dead Beat Moms out there. I know first hand, being a stepmother and seeing mothers not pay for their own children. So when we want to place blame, let’s place it on both Dead Beat Fathers and Dead beat Mothers! And yes, as stated, Food stamps, HEAP, and other necessities would go down greatly. But remember, there are two parents who who should pay, not just the Dads. Moms are now more than before walking away as much as fathers to their children’s needs!
