Mercy Flight, a 501C3 non-profit air transport service, ceased operations in 2013 in the North Country because the increased competition of the new for profit service made it impossible to continue operations. Now people are being gouged by profiteers providing emergency transport. What if all the North Country hospitals guaranteed Mercy Flight their referrals for transport and drove the air transport profiteers out of the North Country? Can we get Mercy Flight to come back?
