In response to news of a meat processing facility coming to Potsdam: At first, the idea of processing more locally grown beef and creating jobs sounds great. But, where does the money come from? Is this a private grant of tax dollars? Was the same grant offered to a slaughterhouse businesses already in the county? Wouldn't that be a safer investment rather than a start up company? The taxpayers need to put an end to these corrupt shell games with our money before it is too late.
