I was three weeks old when we moved to Massena 61 years ago. Our neighborhood was educated people, large families. Downtown was full of a variety of busy stores. It’s not anyone’s fault that the town is turning into a slum. Many are leaving because of the very sad population we now all see. Greed and not caring where their money comes from, plays a huge part in bringing down our town, from what it was, 60 years ago.
