I was finally fed up with others pulling out of driveways, streets and side roads too close in front of me and being run onto the shoulder when on coming vehicles of all types were passing. I began using my low beams at all times. End of problems! Major bus lines and school bus operators have made that standard practice for about 50 years. Surveys show a 10 to 15 percent reduction in accidents when lights are on in good weather and bad.
