In response to “Obnoxious Noise,” which appeared in the March 30-April 5 issue of North Country This Week, they need loud pipes for their safety because people don’t see them. But, there is no excuse for jerks with extremely loud illegal pipes on trucks or cars. They are the obnoxious ones. I have to put up with one that goes up and down the street all day and evening with no regard to anyone else. He keeps punching the gas to make it louder and louder as he goes up the street. He’s the one that needs to be stopped.
