In response to the Letter to the Editor “ Pets Have No Place at Dairy Princess Parade,” which ran in the June 10 issue of North Country This Week; I so agree with you, why have pets at parades? Leave your pet at home to show your love for your animal. Also, about fireworks…please don't. If you want to enjoy your noisemakers, take them out to the beaches or out of town. Our pets hate them and so do we. Specifically in neighborhoods where you know everybody has pets...please refrain.
