The people of Potsdam need to quit complaining. You have all kinds of shopping opportunities compared to Canton. Canton’s downtown is mainly offices and they have one grocery store. Downtown you have music stores, a sports store, a bike shop, a skating store, a maple store, a party store, a comic shop, and many others. You have four grocery stores. You have all kinds of places to eat that I wouldn’t consider fast food, which is mainly what Canton has. If you’re shopping for a car you go to Potsdam. You have all kinds of decent senior housing. I have to laugh when I read where a Town Council person who lives in Norwood says you guys don’t know what you’re doing and you have lots of empty storefronts. Sure you have a few like every other community.
