In response to the ‘Beware garbage’ Sound Off (Nov. 3-9): Call the police! Littering is an offense. I’d be neighborly and pay the neighbors a visit first. But then I’d be making calls to the cops and the local code enforcement officer. The garbage that gets me is the fast food bags along road. It seems this type of trash makes up most of what I see. Am I the only one that notices this? Or is it just local to my area? Maybe all the littering would slow down if people started getting fined for it.
