I recently went to a local beach with my three children. My youngest is 3 years old and cannot swim yet. I put a boat certified life jacket on her and I was told that if I didn’t take it off her then she couldn’t be in the water. Are you kidding me? I am watching three kids; if I turn one second to see the older two she could be under. Even the so-called shallow part is kind of deep for a 3-year old. This needs to be addressed because it is wrong on many levels.
