I'm very upset with the St. Mary’s Catholic church. I can't believe how they dictate how people grieve and honor their loved ones. Leave the graves alone! If they want to push people away this is it. I think anyone upset by this should take the donation envelopes and put a note in it and write how upset you are with them instead of giving money. The excuse is, it's hard to do lawn care. We have stuff on the graves at Bayside Cemetery and it looks very tasteful. Bayside doesn't complain, instead they provide barrels of water for plants. The Catholic church has gone way too far. I'm so ashamed of all the volunteers that participated in this vandalism. How dare you prey on people and their grief? I will never donate or participate in a place so full of ignorance; it's time to find a new place to worship.
