In response to “Hunting Dogs Can Legally Roam Properties” which appeared in the Feb. 8-13 issue of North Country This Week: I was incensed by the article. I had a similar situation occur on my property by raccoon hunters. Of course the hunter had no real job and liked to hunt at all hours of the weeknight about 100 yards from my house. Some hunters have zero respect for property owners. As cruel as it may sound, a good amount of legally set coyote traps would eliminate both problems. The coyotes would be gone and after the first hound got his foot caught in a trap so would the hunter. You've got my sympathy. Good Luck.
