Now that winter like weather is upon us, I wonder if the Ogdensburg City code enforcement office is going to remind homeowners and business owners about keeping the sidewalk clear of snow and ice this winter. If home and business owners don't take care of their sidewalks, they need to be fined. Apparently the Ogdensburg City Codes Enforcement does not care about the safety of people that have to walk, or people that use a scooter, power chair, or wheelchair have to ride in the road because the sidewalks are not safe to use. The city is opening themselves to a lawsuit if someone get injured or killed after being struck by a vehicle.
