This nation was founded on the courage and toil of immigrants. Our founding fathers were people just like you and me trying to provide a better life for their families – and they were immigrants as well. We are an immigrant nation. It’s in our blood and in our hearts. It’s the very essence of America. Everyone is free to pursue his or her hopes and dreams. Regardless of what your stance is on immigration – these kids are here and they deserve just as much of a chance as everyone else. To deny these kids access to education, no matter where they come from is to deny the very blood in your veins.
