Would someone explain to me why our gas bills are so high? Last June, natural gas was selling for over $6 per 1,000 cubic feet shipped.
Today, natural gas is selling for under $2 per 1,000 cubic feet shipped.
I heard a blurp on the radio last June that the gas company had locked in a certain dollar amount for the upcoming winter.
If that’s true, I can understand why no decrease. But now with the price under $2, does that mean our gas bills for this coming winter will be down two thirds?
I hope so.
