It was interesting to read the article in the Watertown Daily Times in regards to Mr. Jenne saying kids should not be spending a lot of time doing homework. Not sure what planet he is from, but I can tell you as a parent of middle school children at Potsdam, we are spending hours - not minutes - doing homework every single night as Mr. Bunstone had mentioned. My kids are frustrated and so am I. Teachers are making comments that parents and children these days do not make school work a priority over sports and other activities. I can only speak for my children and tell you they are not involved in any after school activities and are not allowed to do anything until their homework is completed. It is a fight every night and my children are tired and frustrated. So what do we do now?
