There are enough starving people in our own country that we could be helping out. People like you really irk me, trying to save the world one small country at a time, giving no thought to the one you live in. If you don’t want to hand out Halloween candy then don’t, but please don’t suggest to me how to spend my money. It’s apparent that you don’t have children; some people enjoy Halloween, and the excitement from the kids. I have to question what you’ll do for Christmas...If you don’t like our holidays, don’t participate in them. But it’s our given right as Americans to celebrate them.
