Recently my parked car got hit in the Price Chopper parking lot. The person that hit it, damaging the rear panel, checked their own car, and then left without leaving any information for me. Three witnesses got together and shared information. Then one, a high school student, came into the store to find me and tell me what happened. He accompanied me back to the parking lot where we called the police. He stayed to give his report and information from the other witnesses to the police. What a helpful person! It was a bummer having my car damaged in a hit-and-run, but having witnesses step up and a young man care enough to take the trouble of finding and notifying me, then waiting for the police made me feel very good about the people of Potsdam. Many thanks to all the witnesses, especially the young man!
