The hit and run drivers are surely keeping the body shops in business. A couple years ago while my daughter was interning at the St. Lawrence County courthouse, she had parked my truck in the parking lot and when she came out there was a large dent in the rear quarter panel, big enough that someone would have known they hit it. No one bothered to leave a note. The other day my daughter was at work in Canton and someone hit her one-year-old vehicle, breaking the mirror and denting the door causing two thousand dollars in damage, in which she had to pay five hundred dollars out of her pocket. Still no one left a note.
