High rents are hard to afford on minimum wage

Landlords don’t realize that people on minimum wage have a very hard time paying high rent landlords want. And if they have to pay the high rent, they would have to work two or more jobs. And to say to give up smoking isn’t right for someone to say. That could be the only last thing someone has to enjoy after giving up a lot of other things in their lives. I also feel that landlords only want people who can pay the higher rent, not the ones on fixed incomes or making minimum wage. A lot of landlords don’t even pay for the snow removal or lawn care which is an extra expense for tenants. We need a meeting of the minds on this matter...not fighting
