I recently contacted Stewart’s Shops Corp. to find out why or when we in St. Lawrence County could receive a price reduction like those in Philadelphia, NY, every Sunday.  I received a response that informed me that they do offer a price reduction for a few hours on certain days in Canton (both locations), Brushton, and in Potsdam. Wow, I didn’t know this and I drive past the Canton station daily.  Well, I stopped in at the Route 310 station to reconfirm what I had been told and, yes, they do reduce their per gallon price by 5 cents every Friday from 3-7 p.m. They change the little sign near the pumps showing the reduced price and do not update the larger, more visible sign.  I am not sure when the other stations offer the price reduction so stop in and ask.  At these prices, we need all the help we can get.
