I watched and read as many of us did the day to day operations of our law enforcement personal from local, state and federal working to not only protect but to capture the two escaped convicts from Dannemora. What I did not appreciate was Gov. Cuomo getting the headlines for the initial escape story and the capture of these individuals. If our governor truly believes in his gun-control law, why was he not checking and counting how many rounds were in each law enforcement officers’ gun (7 rounds)? Escaped convict Richard Matt was shot in the head with three slugs from a semi-automatic gun. One second later this gun should have been empty. I doubt if this was the case. We will never know. Let’s get real here folks. Guns do not cause problems...people do. Cuomo is phony and this national news tidbit proves it.
