Not trying to get all the animal lovers in an uproar here and I’m sure the goose appreciated the rescue. But, really…did we need to utilize and commit these resources to save a goose. I’m not positive, but last I checked, Canadian geese are not on the endangered species list. Unlike our firefighters and rescue services, who always seem to be facing the budget ax. If this is how they spend those precious dollars, then maybe they don’t need them after all.
