In response to “How about Snell Lawn,” while I appreciate your issue, I personally love the current location of the Potsdam Farmers Market. The park is gorgeous most weekends and it is so much safer for the usually 10-30 small children who go to the market each week with their parents or come with their parents to sell things. When it was by the road it was horrible for children. Unsafe, overcrowded and usually pedestrians would have to maneuver around shoppers just to get past. I am not sure the lawn of Snell would be any better. Perhaps more convenient for you but for all the shoppers for whom it’s a weekly event with their children, it would be a nightmare. I have gone more this year than ever in the past simply because of the location.
