Election season is around the corner and there are two Hopkinton Town Board seats that are up. Everyone in the town that has an opinion on whether or not the turbines come in needs to get out and vote. If you are not registered, you have the time. If you are seasonal at Lake Ozonia and you are there 30 days or more, you can do an absentee ballot. There are other issues this town has, but this is the most important issue this town has or possibly ever will have to vote on. So who you chose is really important. Let your voice be heard. Remember no one knows who you vote for when you go in that booth. So if you work for or with someone, rent from someone, or have a relationship with someone but feel strongly opposing them, you still need to vote. Our town should not be shaped by a handful of people. The election is in November, so register now. You can get the paperwork at the DMV.
