I have a very interesting question. When you ask a service station why the price of gas has gone up here they answer with “Well it costs more to bring it up here, after all we’re not near a major highway, like 81 or 90.” Then answer me this, why is it that in Tupper Lake gas is $0.10 cheaper per gallon? I think some one is price gouging because of all the upcoming events like the firemen’s convention and summer festival, etc. Think about it for a while. The local stores and restaurants will be doing it so why not get in on the action. I think it stinks. With the way jobs and money are, you would think our own towns would want to help out.
