In response to “Electronic Schooling” for high school students: while electronic schooling is an idea that may become a reality in the future, you cannot assume that all students have internet access that would allow that kind of schooling. My parents live only 2.5 miles outside of Potsdam and only 200 yards from having cable internet and can’t get DSL yet. Only “dial up” which as you must know doesn’t allow any skyping and is extremely slow for everything else as well. There are still many areas around here that don’t have access to DSL or cable internet. So expecting to eliminate all high school in this way just isn’t realistic, at least not yet. That is still many years away from being a possible solution to school costs.
