Flag has roots to KKK

For me I first was really introduced to the rebel flag when I enlisted in the army at 20 years old. I was stationed at Fort McClallan in Alabama. I was there 16 weeks although I didn't get much free time at first we did earn free passes for the weekends. It was then I was exposed to biker gangs that were at bars and all of those hardcore men either had flags sewn on their jackets or tattooed on them. I also went to a Nascar race at Talladega and I saw so many rebel flags flying I asked my buddy who was from Alabama about it and he told me they were very proud to be southern. I noticed it started about the Mason-Dixon Line. I never really gave it much thought until now; I believe what South Carolina did was correct. The flag is offensive and it is racially attached roots to the KKK. I never knew that until I did some digging. I believe everyone else no matter where you are or where you live you should do the same with your flags roll them up correctly and put them away for good it's time.
