I am astonished that Norwood-Norfolk Central School Superintendent Elizabeth Kirnie would spend one dollar or one minute contemplating a Facebook page for this school district. Certainly, there are more important pressing matters that deserve her attention...like the school’s current website. A quick survey of friends, relatives and alumni shows that the current school website is the forum used to obtain information. I visit the site frequently, but find it extremely frustrating that most of the entries are so obsolete, i.e. Honor Society 2008-2009; Prom pictures 2009; athletic events...still posted for fall 2010 with no updates to cover the current academic year; Board of Education minutes appear months after meeting dates, etc. The site is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. It is unbelievable and an embarrassment that this school repeatedly misspells sophomore! So come on Ms. Kirnie, why don’t you and your staff spend some of your idle time correcting, monitoring student input, and updating what you already have, and then work on even more important issues.
