In response to “Free College Tuition” which appeared in the Jan. 11-17 edition of North Country This Week: how is what our governor is proposing a bad thing? I paid for my eduction as well and I think it’s a great idea to make it possible for someone to go college who may not have the means to pay. It’s for families who make very little money. The jobs are slim to none statewide and college tuition is high, so why not give someone a fighting chance? Anyone who goes to college can't spend their whole time partying, they have to keep up grades to stay there. It sounds like you'r stereotyping. If someone gets help for college you automatically think they will abuse the privilege. This will give someone a chance to do something with their life. Don't be so negative!
