In response to “What is EPA Protecting”: I am pleased to have read your enthusiasm for action. I am a firm believer in grass-root activism. I encourage you to join the local 350.org chapter: North Country 350 Alliance to stream your energy into productivity. As a local environmental organization we are working to build a core group of motivated community members to educate, organize, and participate in activities that raise awareness in areas such as hydraulic-fracturing, Keystone XL pipeline, and climate change. With your help and energy, we can make a difference to raise awareness of hydraulic fracturing. I believe the EPA should be protecting our health and human rights first before corporate personhood and fossil fuel companies. This would be great topic to raise awareness on due to its relevance in New York State. We welcome anyone to our meeting at the Canton UU Church March 18 at 7 p.m.
