Whatever happened to employee appreciation? When respect is demanded by us, but respect is given in return, only if deemed deserved. What is wrong with this picture? Phrases such as "you people" or "you need to look at your contract." Why not look past the end of your nose and see what is accomplished and understand what it takes to perform the duties? The number one priority is the safety and well being of our children, staff and the public entering our buildings. Have we truly forgotten that our school systems stem from families and people coming together to help raise future leaders. How about turning our school back into a family oriented place of employment rather than a business that needs to be run by intimidation or bulling tactics? The old saying you get more bees with honey applies.
