In regards to the Sound Off “Local Donations Better” (North Country This Week Aug. 8-15), I agree with the couple that hears that all the donations will end up somewhere else. Just wanted to remind everyone that the local Edward Jones office, 9 Maple St., Potsdam, is collecting back-to-school supplies. The supplies stay here. This is the third or fourth year that the bounty goes to A.A. Kingston Middle School. James Cruikshank loves to receive our call to hear that the school supplies are on their way...he is even willing to carry them.
