In response to the writer of “Grading Spin” (May 19-25), Mr. Brady’s ideas on grading are studied, not spun. He has many years experience as a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools. Experience and scholarly examination have led him to know that grades should reflect achievement. Mr. Brady is raising the bar, not lowering it. He is doing what is right, fair, insightful, and intelligent. We have an educational leader at the helm. Thanks, Mr. Brady.
