In response to “Halloween Nonsense,” I ask you what is wrong with adults engaging in a holiday that is recognized nationwide? They are at work, and doing their job. Costumes to the best of my knowledge do not interfere with someone’s mental ability to perform a task. Actually, allowing events like this to take place in the work place is proven to increase employee morale and creating friendly competitions between departments or local business is a great way to create interdepartmental exchanges, can bring positive attention to a business that some people may not even know is in their community, create friendly interaction between departments and business, and also is just plain a way to unwind a bit and bring some fun into a high stress area. Becoming and adult, achieving an education, and a good job does not mean that you have to forego light hearted fun. I do not work at this business but work at one of the largest organizations in this area and we too indulged in Halloween fun and I can guarantee you my job and the jobs of my fellow employees was still done in the same time frame and to the same high standard that we are held to and work to achieve each and every day! By the sound of it you too, could use some joy and happiness in your life and workplace because it is greatly lacking! Happy Halloween!
