People have been told over and over not to leave pets in a closed up vehicle in hot weather. Within a few minutes temperatures can hit over 100 degrees in the vehicle. Yet they continue to do it. Recently two small white dogs were left in an SUV, with every window tightly closed up, in front of Save-A-Lot. I could hear them barking. I could imagine how hot it was for them as my car was hot inside and I had two windows down. I left a note on the windshield and wished I’d have called the police like I did one other time. Why don’t you people leave your pets at home when you run errands or go shopping? They’d be better off. Why don’t you try sitting in a closed up car on the next hot day and see how you like it?
