Dissolve Potsdam village, save taxpayers money
Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - 9:50 am

In response to “Villagers Pay Town Taxes Too,” (March 20 - 26): We only have one response to that argument and it is dissolve. This would allow the Town of Potsdam the options to close the museum, abolish the Planning and Development Department, sell the airport, and develop an equitable user fee schedule for the youth department so the residents that actually use it pay for it. This would save both town and village taxpayers a bundle in taxes and improve everybody’s quality of life.
